Carcass Cake at Zombie Jamboree

An exhibition of Zombie themed paintings and Illustrations. Pip Smith and Pritika created a gourmet cake in the style of a bloodies carcass.
Made from a variety of cakes including Chocolate Vegan Cake, Carrot and Date Cake and Date Muffins, white chocolate and jelly. This gruesome delicacy was the centre piece of the show.

THE MINT CHICKS - 'HOT ON YOUR HEELS'
This complex and intricate music video was created for New Zealand/Portland based band The Mint Chicks. The experimental/noise/pop band won five Tui awards at the 2007 New Zealand Music Awards, including best rock group and has a history of artistic and cumulative imagery.
It was Directed and Produced by boutique, design collective Special Problems of Auckland.
Pritika Lal was one of four Art Director's on the project and focused on the first sequence of the song. She created a selection of specialty props and sets for the narrative, including a breast island, creepy hand and a Zebra-Tiger. Once complete the combination of visuals, sound and movement lend a candy-store treatment to an otherwise creepy babies nightmare.

TURTLE PIZZA CADELACS

This music video for CocoSolid and Parallel Dance Ensemble combined claymation and laser lights to produce a captivating excursion into the avant-garde. Part ancient ruin, part alien surround, this party underground draws us into a strange and forgotten time of mystery and celebration.
Directed and designed by Aleks Sakowski, Produced by Fumes TV.
For this project Pritika supplied a model making service involving creating realistic stone work from clay. This required building-to-plan various rock formations through shaping, texturing, painting and aging.
Turtle Pizza Cadillacs can be seen on C4.
